Organizational Background:

CSED is a non-governmental, non-political, non-partisan and non-profit oriented organization established for justice and sustainable development through the medium of socio-economic activities. It was founded in 2062 B.C. (2005 A.D.) by the joint effort of professionals working in different fields in order to cater the services to the grassroots and general public.

CSED has been established to identify the deprived people and community through need assessment, program selection, planning and implementation through participatory approach.

Officially the Association was established on 062/63 B.S. It is registered with the Reg. No. 85/062-63/2177 in District Administration Office, Lalitpur and affiliated with Social Welfare Council (affiliation no. 19027), Kathmandu. An executive committee of 9 members constituted to run its affairs. The General Assembly is the supreme body of this organization. The working committee elected by general assembly implements the approved policies and programs.
